Congratulations to Raeann and Bill who toughed it out at The Arizona Marathon.
Bill went in with a hip injury and could not finish the race. He did pace Raeann for about 10 miles,
but a nagging hip pain forced Raeann to walk later in the race, here is what she had to say about it:
"...Obviously the day did not go as planned. Worked really hard for this one but a hip flexor and I weren't getting along from mile 11. Nowhere to bail, so just walked shuffled 14 miles. Lots of time to think, but I am grateful for getting here and my Hubbie Bill Ludlow who supports me no matter how slow I run. He ended up pacing me for 10 miles, as planned, and pulled out before aggravating
his own hip flexor problem. We are a family of hip flexor issues. Cheers all."

"You guys are definitely joined at the hip… In the end that's what counts...
being together no matter what!"
